Faroles!
Let there be light—shared light.
In Costa Rica, September 14th glows with faroles: handmade lanterns that honor the night independence arrived.
But in Arenal, some kids have had to go without, priced out of a tradition meant for all.
This year, we’re changing that.
With help from volunteers and local schools, we’re crafting hundreds of faroles—beautiful, affordable, and made with love. The cost of the workshop will depend on ability to pay.
Proceeds go to Vida Sostenible Nuevo Arenal – Escolares and any gains will be used to fund future projects.
Because no child should be left in the dark.
Made with love in Arenal, for every child who deserves to shine.
